El selenio es un elemento esencial en la nutrición humana.
Ha atraído un creciente interés científico en los últimos años por su potencial para prevenir el cáncer. El selenio esta presenta en múltiples formas
en la naturaleza, tres de los cuales son especialmente importantes en la
prevención de los cánceres humanos (sodium selenite, L-selenomethionine y
